Love,
The Greatest of These
To be loved is very important in this life, but it needs
to be the real thing. I have had occasion to ponder on the love one
Christian has for another. This particular occurrence came to me in a
very disturbing and personal way. When this happened to me I began to
see things in a different way, thus leading me to wonder if the
professed Christians, myself included, has true love one for the other
or just ear tickling lip service.
In John 13:34-35, when Jesus and His disciples were
gathered for the Last Supper, Jesus said, ”A new commandment
I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye
also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my
disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
Here is the message the Holy Spirit revealed to me. I
pray the reader can set all emotions aside, read it, enjoy it, meditate
on it, ask God about it and see if there is a place for it in your life
as you walk with God and your family of Believers.
