My Logo - A Blessing From The Lord

My Logo came some thirty-five, plus, years ago, shortly after I was ordained into the ministry and I thought I needed one for my stationary. After all they are a big thing and I really wanted one. As I prayed about it and meditated on it, the Lord gave me the one you see on the right and on all my web pages.

The three crosses are the ones on calvary with the large one in the center being the one our Lord and Savior was crucified on. The Dove represents the Holy Spirit. The red ribbon represents the scarlet thread, which is the cord or rope that Rahab, the harlot, used to let down the two spies through the window, that had come from Joshua to look over the land of Jericho. Because of the deed she did for Joshua and the spies, she and her household were saved (Joshua 2:18-19).

The scarlet cord in the window was similar to blood of the Passover lamb. The early Church viewed the blood colored cord or ribbon as a type or symbol of Christ’s atonement. (See note in The NIV Study Bible)
