God Cares

Have you ever been told that God cares for you or that Jesus loves you? Can you imagine the multitudes that perhaps have never heard these two little statements? There are multitudes that would like to hear that Jesus loves them. Many have never been told they can be redeemed and set free by the precious blood of Jesus. They have never heard that they can have a personal relation with Jesus, the Son of God and that they can call on Him in times of need (Heb. 4:16).

There are many that attend church every week and have never heard the healing and deliverance message of a loving Savior. They are so caught up in man made doctrines and traditions, they too, have forgotten that God cares. They have placed Him so far away, in a place called Heaven, many no longer believe He is still in touch with the world they live in. Many believe God no longer talks to His children.

Many do not believe God heals today. When, in truth, I am personally acquainted with God’s healing power. Years ago, God healed me of a stomach ulcer, of which the doctor said there was no cure. God gave my husband a new heart and two and a half years ago he was diagnosed with lung cancer with a prognosis of six months to live. He is still with me today.

It is sad to think so many people believe that God really does not care about His children. Why is that? Because people don’t understand God’s kind of love. God sent His Son to hang on a cross and die for us. How great that love must be.

The devil has worked in devious ways to try to nullify God’s Word and attempted to convince the world that God no longer cares. We find people all over the world that are searching for peace, joy and contentment. So many people all around the globe are sick, broken hearted, financially destroyed, lost and spiritually dying for need of a loving Savior.

There is one Scripture in all the Bible that sums up God’s love for mankind. It is John 3:16.

”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God cares and cares so much that before man sinned in the Garden of Eden, He already had a plan to redeem mankind back to Himself. To redeem means to buy back. Our Creator has so much power and love, even His many names tell us of His greatness and love. Let’s look at those names.

El Shaddi--Almighty God. El means the strong One and Shaddi means the breasted One which pictures our God as a strong nourisher, strength giver, satisfier, all bountiful and the supplier of the needs of His people.

Jehovah-Elohem—the Eternal Creator.

Adonai-Jehovah—the Lord our sovereign or Master Jehovah.

Jehovah-Jireh—the Lord will see or provide.

Jehovah-Nissi—the Lord our banner.

Jehovah-Ropheka—the Lord our healer.

Jehovah-Shalom—the Lord our peace.

Jehovah-Tsidkeenu—the Lord our righteousness.

Jehovah-Mekaddishkem—the Lord our sanctifier.

Jehovah-Saboath—the Lord of hosts

Jehovah-Shammah—the Lord is present.

Jehovah-Elyonthe Lord most high.

Jehovah-Rohi—the Lord my shepherd.

There are more but these should be enough to tell us that God cares greatly for His human creation. His love is such that He sent His Son to suffer and die in our place. John 3:16 also says that if we believe on His Son and with corresponding actions, receive Him into our hearts as Savior and Lord we will have life everlasting.

The Bible declares there is no salvation in any other than Jesus Christ. For there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus, Himself, said “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man can come to the Father except by me” (John 14:6).

Jesus went to the cross for my sin and your sin. He hung on that cross suspended between heaven and earth, and after His death, He defeated Satan for me and for you. Oh, what a price was paid for our redemption, all because God cares.
