It's A Done Deal

Before I start this message it is important that I lay some ground work.

I am eighty one years young and have just gone through cancer surgery on August 22, 2014. It has been a very trying experience even though Jesus has been with me every step of the way. In fact, before I went into surgery I told the doctor that I had already asked Jesus to stand at his back and guide his hands.

I have been a Christian for many, many years and have tried my best, with God's help, to walk obedient to Him. I believe He has been preparing me for this very trying interval in my life for many years. I don't know why I am going through this except perhaps to grow more faith (We never stop growing in faith). Perhaps the devil placed it in my body but even so, God will use it for good. I have turned my life over to God's control so I believe every thing that comes into my life has God's permission. But as His child and minister it is not my business to argue with God, it is my job to just keep trusting Him no matter what happens. After all what He has said in His Word is a "Done Deal".

Now to the message:

First let's look at Salvation.

Jesus shed His blood on a cross for the remission (pardon, amnesty, reprieve) of sins.

"For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." Matthew 26:28

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4;12

You see when Jesus came to earth and shed His blood for the sins of humanity in the Father's heart it is a "Done Deal". That is all that will ever be done for mans forgiveness. Now it is up to mankind to accept that blood as forgiveness and ask Jesus into their heart as Savior and Lord.

Now let's look at the Blood.

"And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." Hebrews 9:22

Again here is the law God set in motion so therefore in the heart of the Father it is a "Done Deal."

The Cross.

"And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus." Luke 23:26

"And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." Phil. 2:8

"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" Col. 2:14

Let me say again that this is a one time event. Jesus hung on that cross one time only. The ordinances that was against us was the law. Jesus brought grace. No longer are we under the law of the Old Testament. So once again in the heart of the Father this Word of His New Testament is a "Done Deal"

Another word to look at, "Healing."

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

Last but not least is the word "Hasten."

Hasten means to hurry or go quickly.

And the Lord said to Jeremiah, "Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it." Jeremiah 1:12

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" Numbers 23:19

So we see once more  in the heart of Father God that what He states in His Word is a "Done Deal"

Let's look at the word "Healing"

I believe healing of our minds, emotions, spirit and our phusical bodies in one of the greatest needs in the church body today.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5

And another scripture tells us,

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
Peter 2:24

You will notice that Peter tells us that we "were" healed which is past tense. That means we were healed by the stripes of Jesus at the atonement. Nothing more is going to be done about our healing. It is up to us now to appropriate our healing by going to Jesus by faith. The only thing Jesus asks of us is that we come to Him in faith. He just wants us to believe in Him.

And once again I have to say in the heart of Father God our healing is bought and paid for and is a "Done Deal."

Then we want to "Watch"

We need to watch our physical, emotional, mental, spiritual lives to protect them against all activity from the enemy, Satan. We also want to watch our lives to make sure we are growing spiritually and are obedient to our Lord.

Another "Done Deal"

Last but certainly not least is the word "Deliverance"

Deliverance has to do with the enemy, Satan, most of the time. There are certain things that are of a medical nature, which would come under the heading of "healing." Jesus set people free from all the tormenting situations that comes from our enemy, Satan.

"And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease." Matthew 10:1

Jesus sent His twelve apostles out and commanded them to,

"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

Then, of course, the commission to the church, which is the whole corporate body of believers, He gives this directive.

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;....." Mark 16:17a

Jesus left us His name to carry on His ministry to His born again believers. Are we believers? Then we should, by faith and the annointing of the Holy Spirit, be doing what He has commissioned us to do.

Once again we find that our deliverance is a "Done Deal" in the heart of Father God.

We should be speaking healing and deliverance words to our bodies and commanding them to come in line with God's Word. He wants us to be healthy and happy born again children of the kingdom.

Let's not forget that in the heart of Father God, His Word is a "Done Deal"

I wish for you the understanding that our hard to bear situations are designed to teach us more faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

God Bless You!
