Crown of Life

This book “Beauty for Ashes” is intended to give each Believer thought provoking Scriptures. We all want, at the end of this life, a crown of life.

To you, the Saint, who has walked in holiness, despite the persecutions and tribulations you endured, will receive for your faithfulness, “..beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;…(Isaiah 61:3). Beauty in this verse means fancy headdress, tiara or crown. In other words a crown of life.

As Christians we seek the truth of God’s Word. We cannot afford to miss heaven. But listen good, in I Sam. 10:19 God says, “..ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and tribulation; …”

God also says through Jeremiah, “..hear, ye nations (distant lands), and know, O congregations (My people), what is among you. Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened (listened) unto my words, nor to my law (requirements), but rejected it.” (Jer. 6:18-19).

For far too long the Children of God have neglected to search for themselves the truth in God’s Word. They have been slothful and relied on false teachers, therefore, they have been told lies and partial truths.

I know this is a hard message, and I started not to write it, but God just kept urging me on. I, like others, believe this is the last days and now, as never before, we must make sure we are in right standing with God. It is time for all Christians to take stock of their relationship with God and make sure it is what it should be. It is also time for Christians to reach out to the unsaved.

I pray as you read, Beauty for Ashes, you will remember that God urged me to write it, and therefore, I believe it will speak to each of us.
